A Grand Success in Sports and Inclusion

The 3rd Annual Inter-School Sports Fest 2024, organized by the Gully Classes Foundation in collaboration with the Hurmat E Taalem Foundation, was a spectacular event that celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship, inclusion, and community. From 25th to 29th December, the Mahatma Gandhi Government Girls School in Basni Belima, Nagaur, Rajasthan, was abuzz with energy, excitement, and competition.

With 1,800+ students from two villages participating in 17 unique games, this year’s fest set a new benchmark for inclusivity and engagement, providing an unforgettable platform for students to showcase their talents.

Over the last three years, the Annual Inter-School Sports Fest has become a cornerstone event for young athletes in Rajasthan. Each year, the fest grows bigger and better, reaching new milestones in participation and inclusivity.

One of the most inspiring highlights of the event was the enthusiastic participation of specially-abled students who cannot speak or hear. Their courage, determination, and enthusiasm moved everyone present, reminding us that sports can transcend barriers and unite people through passion and resilience.

A Celebration of Achievement

The event concluded on a high note with a grand finale and award ceremony on 29th December. Students were celebrated for their achievements with:

The event also honoured state-level softball players from Basni, recognizing their remarkable achievements and inspiring young participants to aim higher in their journeys.
